Pale Moon and uBlock0 on a grsec-hardened kernel 1

(No. 0)  No. 1  No. 2 ; No. 3

Let me use this page 1 for links to fora where these serve to show/ask about/explain the issue: segfaults upon install of uBlock0 in Pale Moon on grsecunoff kernel-based Linux #27

(but the best part for which to go there is: find about the truth of a betrayal in FOSS and about the fate of grsecurity, if you don't know about it yet)

segfaults upon install of uBlock0 on grsecunoff kernel-based Linux #3530, where just: it decidedly is not an uBlock Origin issue.

These links each have their own share on this issue. E.g. in the Devuan Forums (the latter of all the links, just above), I need to commend the devs for good mainenance of my home distro Devuan: the old compiler which was needed here, and is not there by default, was available, perfectly installable and caused no issues in my Devuan.
